| Work Car |
Never Delete a car if you don't
want to go to work. Just wait till it goes away. If
you do, it will go away forever and you won't be able
to go work anymore. To delete the Car you would have
to use the Cheat Code: move_objects on. Warning Do
not delete the work car. |
| Sleep Forever |
If you want to watch your SIM squirm around in
bed when they need to use the bathroom or they are
hungry, just put a chair or any large object on
each side of the bed and they will not be able to
get out. I am sure that if left there long enough,
it will kill them! Hope you guys enjoy.

| Never Miss Work |
This cheat is kind of like the never
pay bills cheat. First put on the move objects code.
Then move your trash can out in the middle of the
road. When the car drives up, it will stop moving
and start honking! |
| Tax Evasion |
When the mail arrives, have your
Sim receive it. Then tell him to 'Pay Bills', and
when he's on his way to the mailbox with the bills
in his hands, pause the game. Spend money in the buy
mode until you don't have enough to pay the bills.
Than unpause the game, and watch how the Sim puts
the bills in the mailbox, and you lose no money! To
get the money you just spent on items back, simply
sell the items you bought. Since you have just bought
them, you'll get a full refund! |
| Power Up |
To give your sim full happiness and all needs at
full enter the code (move_objects on) make sure
the sim is siting down, then go to buy mode and
delete the sim or the chair or couch go back to
live mode and look for the sim by clicking on their
face and they will be good as new!

| Stairs Glitch |
You need to put in the move_objects
code by pushing shift+ctrl+C and then enter the code.
Next you have to have a 2 story house. Then when someone
walks up the stairs get the hand from the build mode
then click the stairs and delete it. Then go back
on live mode and the person will go through the ceiling
on invisible stairs. |
| Disasters |
If there is a fire, burglary or
death in your game that was unexpected and you wish
never happened, just do not save the game. Go out
to the "neighbourhood" and go back into
the house. Everything will be the same as it was the
last time you saved. WARNING: Sometimes, you may have
worked a long time on a game. If you do this hint,
you would have wasted all the "hard" work
because you will restart from the point you left off
when you started working on the game. To prevent putting
time to waste, if a disaster comes, save every once
in a while. That way, you won't be disappointed. |
| Tutorial Money |
Play the tutorial. Right after the
lady comes in don't follow the directions in the box.
Until you complete the tutorial none of the need bars
go down very fast. Have each of the sims take a job.
Their needs won't go down. You can put free will on
and turn the speed up to 3. Then you can go do something
else and when you come back you will be rich. This
is a nice alternative to cheating. But who needs an
alternative? |
| No Bus Or Work Car |
You have to put the code Move_objects
on and get the hand then when the bus comes pick up
a table like thing but you can't see it and press
Delete. |
| Replacing Something
|
Every time something gets full(the
garbage can)or gets to hard to take care of(the fish
tank/guinea pig cage)or breaks(a lighbulb) you can
just sell it. it you want another one, then buy it
back again, and it will be new. |
| Swim In The Floor |
Build a house and make sure it has
a swimming pool. Next put in the move_objecs on code
and go to the tool mode and use the hand to move anybody
you have in your family into the pool. Then put it
back on live mode and the character(s) you moved in
the pool will be in the house swimming in carpet!
Note: It might take a few tries to do this. |
| Fill All Your Streeses
And Your Stats |
To get all your stuff filled like
stress, hunger, social, fun, energy and stuff all
you have to do is put in the code MOVE_OBJECTS ON
and then go to the tool mode and get the hand and
click on any character. After that DELETE the character.
After that click on the character's picture that you
deleted 2 times really fast and then they will come
back with everything filled up! |
| How To Make Sims Happy
|
If your sim is really sad or just
sad, do this code: Hold [ctrl]+[shift]+[c] and type
in the box that shows up "move_objects on".
Click on your sim in buy objects and delete them,
go back to play and left click on their face in the
box. It will make them 100% happy. |
| Revive Dead Sims |
If one of your Sims dies, sell everything
in the house. Then, evict the family and buy the house
again. When the house loads, all of the Sims will
be alive with full mood bars. |
| Cheaper Wallpaper And
Floors |
Get money for old wallpaper before you paste new
wallpaper in a room. Sell the old wallpaper, then
paste the new. This also works on floors.

| Ghosts |
When someone dies in a family, and
there are still family members remaining, they will
be haunted by the ghost of the Sim that died. |
| Keep Baby Easier |
To keep a baby without social services
taking it away, just have one of the parents (the
person in the lower rank of their job is recommended)
to miss work two days in a row to get fired. They
can now pay 24 hour attention to the baby. |
| Keep Sim Sleeping |
If your Sims are asleep and you
do not want to disturb them with a loud noise that
is coming from the television or somthing, enter build
mode, delete the object that is making noise, and
buy a new one. |
| Selling The Dead |
This is a useful trick if you had
a Sim die. When Sims die, they leave an urn or a gravestone
behind them which your Sim will mourn for 24 hours.
After this time you can pick it up in furnish mode
and sell it. You only get about 3 to 10 Simoleans
for it, but it is better than turning your garden
into a cemetery. |
| Faster Skill |
Select the create a family button.Create
three to eight kids(boys or girls). When you finish
creating, change the kids into adults. Then click
the finish creating button and move them into any
lot. You will find that your characters will already
have skills. Some will have full skills such as cooking,
etc. |
| Friendship/Lovers |
If you are trying to get a Sim to
like another Sim ,and you want to propose, somtimes
the game will respond, "I can't think on an empty
stomach". Before the Sim arrives, make a meal.
If it gets late, delete the doors, then they cannot
leave. |
| Hidden Cartoon |
When you insert the game CD-ROM
and asks whether you want to start or visit various
web sites, move the pointer over the gray Maxis symbol
in the bottom left corner. It will change into colored
text. Click on it to see the hidden cartoon. |
| Slow Down (or Stop)
The Decreasing Of Sims' Needs |
On the bar on the bottom of the
screen, there are the Sim's faces. If you watch their
needs when you rapidly click their faces, the needs
wont decrease that much. The little red arrow that
indicates that the Sim needs that need more will come
quickly then leave right away. This works effectively
but you cant really do anything while your clicking.

| No More Bills |
Use the code "move_objects
on" and don`t forget the "on" at the
end. Then select and delete the mailbox. No more bills!

| Center Screen |
When playing you can center the
screen on anything by right clicking on the object
you want to center. |
| Free Snacks And Pizza
|
Have your sim get a snack, and when
they take it our, cancel the order before the money
message appears. Then pick it up and eat it. Order
a pizza, and when the pizza man arrives, do not greet
him. Before he leaves, use the move_objects on code
to move the pizza out of his hands and place it inside
your house. |
| Buying Multiple Items
|
When buying items, such as lamps,
that you require multiple numbers of, hold [Shift]
to repeatedly place the item where desired without
having to always re-select it. |
| Another Baby Chance
|
If you want to keep a baby from
being taken by a social worker wait for them to show
up. Just before she goes inside, enter house edit
mode and delete all the doors that lead into your
house. A screen saying you have a new baby will appear
and prompt you to name it OR As soon as the social
worker appears, quickly pause the game. Enable the
move_objects on code and enter build mode. Select
the hand, pick up the social worker, and delet her.
A new baby will appear in the room. |
| Two Phone Messages |
Place more than two phones in your
house. When the phone rings direct two of your sims
to answer the phones. By doing so, two messages will
appear for each of your sims. Sometimes resulting
in a more generous amount of money. |
| Easy Garbage |
Buy the 30 simolian garbage can.
Order the Sim to empty it, then cancel the order just
as they remove the bag. Then order them to pick up
the mess that they just created. Your Sim will return
the bag to an empty can. This saves you the time needed
to take it to the street |
| Get Outdoor Items Indoors
|
Use this trick to place a grill,
playground, basketball court, or other outdoor items
inside your Sim's house. While building the house
leave part of the wall open. The CPU will consider
that room as part of the outside. Place your outdoor
item in the room, then close the wall. NOTE:It only
works in one room at a time. |
| Real Music |
Note: This trick requires a music
recording/downloading program. Record/download the
music of your choice. After that save the music file(s)
to The Sims game in the path "/Maxis/The Sims/Music/Stations/"
followed by "Rock", "Classical",
"Latin", or "Country". This can
also be saved so that the TV plays the music by selecting
the "SoundData/TVStations" path instead
of "Music", then choosing "Mystery",
"Romance", "Comedy", or "Action".

| Magic Garbage Bag |
The following trick will save the
time needed to take the garbage to the street. Buy
the 30 simolian trash can. Order your Sim to empty
it, then cancel the order just as they remove the
bag from the trashcan. Then, order them to pick up
the mess that they just created. Your Sim will return
the full bag to an empty can. Repeat this each time
it fills and trash will never have to be brought outside
again. |
| Less Bills |
Keep an unpaid bill until the mailman
delivers the next set of bills. Pay the original bill
when your mailbox is filled with the next set of bills.
This should cause the bills inside the mailbox to
disappear. |
| Easier Relationships
|
Create a family with a male and
female adult that are of the same category (such as
Virgo and Virgo) and move them into a house (or created
house). Immediately after selecting live mode make
them kiss approximately ten times in a row to set
their relationship meter to 100. If you continue kissing
the female, she should ask to have a baby.
