Gangs [SAGAN5] | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| It was suggested to me that I make a Gang section describing each gang in San Andreas, and here it is. I will add the name of the gang (of course), and other information such as gang colours, gang leader, the weapons they carry and the territory they can be found in, followed by a short description of each gang. Gang: Orange Grove Families Colour: Green Gang Leader: Sean "Sweet" Johnson Territory: Ganton, Playa del Seville Weapons: Pistol, SMG Description: This is your gang and the first part of the game is spent earning your respect on the street back, and getting the Ballas and the drugs off the street. Recently, the Temple Drive Families and Seville Boulevard Families went their separate ways and left the Grove. Gang: Temple Drive Families Colour: Green Gang Leader: Sean "Sweet" Johnson Territory: Ganton, Playa del Seville Weapons: Pistol, SMG Description: The Temple Drive Families are constantly fighting the Seville Boulevard Families. Although both gangs are from Grove Street, they still don't see eye to eye. They recently went their seperate ways with the Seville Boulevard Families and left the Grove. Gang: Seville Boulevard Families Colour: Green Gang Leader: Sean "Sweet" Johnson Territory: Ganton, Playa del Seville Weapons: Pistol, SMG Description: The Temple Drive Families are constantly fighting the Seville Boulevard Families. Although both gangs are from Grove Street, they still don't see eye to eye. They recently went their seperate ways with the Seville Boulevard Families and left the Grove. Gang: Rollin' Heights Ballas Colour: Purple Gang Leader: Kane? Territory: Idlewood, Jefferson, Glen Park Weapons: Pistol, Micro-SMG Description: The Ballas are your sworn enemy throughout most of the game. Once you leave Los Santos, the Ballas will be stronger if you return before the storyline reaches a certain part. They are responsible for the drugs on the streets and the drugs have ruined most of Grove Street. Gang: Los Santos Vagos Colour: Yellow Gang Leader: Unknown Territory: Las Colinas, East Beach Weapons: Pistol, Tec-9 Description: The Los Santos Vagos teamed up with the Ballas and took over most of Los Santos. Once you leave Los Santos, the Vagos will be stronger if you return before the storyline reaches a certain part. They are responsible for the drugs on the streets and the drugs have ruined most of Grove Street. Gang: Varrios Los Aztecas Colour: Cyan Gang Leader: Cesar Vialpando Territory: El Corona Weapons: Pistol, Tec-9 Description: CJ and Sweet's sister Kendl is dating the gang leader of the Vagos, Cesar Vialpando. Cesar joins up with CJ and has to move out of Los Santos with Kendl after Ballas and Vagos take over his neighbourhood. Even though you are friends with Cesar, the Aztecas will still shoot you if they see you. Gang: San Fierro Rifa Colour: Blue Gang Leader: Unknown Territory: Garcia, Doherty Weapons: Pistol Description: Not a lot is known about this gang. They are known not to mix with the Vagos but CJ and Smoke spot them making a deal at a train station. They are often seen hanging around CJ's garage in Doherty, but are not very dangerous. Gang: Da Nang Boys Colour: Brown Gang Leader: The Snakehead Territory: Easter Basin, Downtown Weapons: Pistol, Micro-SMG Description: The Da Nang Boys have recently moved to San Fierro on board a tanker with The Snakehead. The tanker holds a container full of immigrants on board and a large amount of heroin. They are enemies of the Triads. New Features [SANEW8] | |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| There are loads of new features in San Andreas. Some are needed for 100% completion, some are not. Below are all the new features you can find around San Andreas. I have tried to add as much as information as possible to this section, so I hope it helps. |=============================================================================| | A. Statistics [SANEW8A] | |=============================================================================| There is now a statistics bar for pretty much everything you do in the game. If you press the L1 Button, a stats screen will come up in the bottom of the screen. +---------------------+ | Respect | <---- You can raise your respect by taking over turf. | Stamina | <---- You can raise your stamina by exercising. | Muscle | <---- You can raise your muscle by working out. | Fat | <---- You can raise your fat by eating a lot. | Sex Appeal | <---- You can raise your sex appeal by dating. +---------------------+ Here's a submitted tip below. To Raise your sex appeal it helps to get a nice expensive car like a Banshee or something that looks expensive in Las Venturas. Get in the car and then get out again. Make sure the vehicle is in good condition. Your sex appeal will take a very large jump. Submitted by Lalamommy808 You also get a statistic for your weapons and driving now. When you start a new game, all the statistics for your weapons are 'Poor', but the more you use them the better you become. Your accuracy and firing skill will improve, and you will be able to get your statistics to Hitman and Gangster levels. When you first start driving a car, your handling and cornering will be poor, however, this will improve the more you drive cars. The same goes for bikes and planes. During the game, you will need to stay healthy if you want to be able to sprint for long periods of time, and be able to climb walls. This can be done by visiting the local gym. While you work out, your muscle stat improves. Then when you can run for long periods of time your stamina stat will improve. Also, now that you can swim you have a lung capacity stat. This can be improved by swimming underwater, but don't stay under there too long, or you will start to lose health if your oxygen meter runs out. You can also raise your lung capacity stat by collecting the oysters spread around San Andreas. |=============================================================================| | B. HUD [SANEW8B] | |=============================================================================| The HUD (Heads-Up Display) has been changed quite a bit. There is no longer any hearts or shield icons to represent your health and armour. Your health and armour are now represented by bars. Also, the wanted level stars are gone, they will only appear when you have a wanted level. |=============================================================================| | C. Controls [SANEW8C] | |=============================================================================| The controls are different as well, but not much different from Vice City. L3 now lets you crouch and R1 lets you manually aim at a target. This is good for if you want to kill enemies quicker - you can just aim for their head. You can also walk forward while crouched. |=============================================================================| | D. Working Out [SANEW8D] | |=============================================================================| Working out is important if you want to stay strong and healthy. You can go to any gym in San Andreas to work out or learn new fighting moves. Each gym has lots of equipment to help you build your muscles. 1. Ganton Gym ------------- Once you have 25% muscle you'll be able to take part in the Boxing Instructor Challenge. The challenge involves a boxing match against the top boxer of the gym. If you beat him, he will teach you three new moves. 2. Cobra Martial Arts Gym ------------------------- This gym can be found in Doherty once you reach San Fierro. You'll need to beat the martial arts master of this gym. When you beat him, he will teach you three new moves. 3. Below the Belt Gym --------------------- This gym can be found in Redsands East once you reach Las Venturas. You'll need to beat the kick-boxing master of this gym. When you beat him, he will teach you three new moves. |=============================================================================| | E. Clothes [SANEW8E] | |=============================================================================| Clothes are completely different to how they were in Vice City. You can now customise CJ and dress him up in whatever yo
