Introduction =- (C010A) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== Hello, and welcome to my FAQ/Walkthrough for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. GTA:SA is the latest installment of the Grand Theft Auto series, and is arguably the best. Rockstar has definitely made some huge improvements that make San Andreas a unique addition to the series. The world is much larger, you have many more weapons to wreak havoc with, and the storyline has more twists than you can shake a stick at. Well, enough of my talking about the game. Let's get to it. Since this FAQ is quite large you should use the search feature. You can find more info about that at the top of the FAQ. If this is your first time playing San Andreas, take some time to read through "The Basics" section. There is some very good stuff in there. Alright, I'll see you at the end of this thing. Enjoy the show. =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -= II. The Basics =- (C020A) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== The following is a lot of information that could prove to be very useful if this is your first time playing San Andreas, and especially if this is your first playing a GTA game. =============================================================================== ----- The Story -------------------- (C0201) =============================================================================== Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas... a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs, and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers. Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart, and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets. =============================================================================== ----- The Controls -------------------- (C0202) =============================================================================== ================= -= On Foot =- ================= ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Triangle Button ............................ If you've played any of the previous GTAs then you already know a few of them. First, and most important, is the automobile. There are also BMX Bikes in San Andreas that you can ride! But if you aren't able to find a car or bike, you can always use your own two feet. Stealing Cars ------------- Lucky for you, you have an endless supply of cars at your disposal. Since only .01% of the population of San Andreas actually locks their car doors, you will have no trouble at all walking up to random cars and just getting right in. Some drivers will cower in fear at the sight of you, gladly handing over their precious vehicle. Others may prove to be a bit more difficult, chasing you down, and trying to take their vehicle back. Nothing a few bullets can't handle. The Bicycle ----------- New to San Andreas is the Bicycle. I actually love riding the bike. On it you can actually go pretty high speeds, and since it's so small, weaving through traffic is no problem. Also, if you hold down L1 and then let go, you can Bunnyhop. The higher your cycling skill is, the higher you can Bunnyhop! Bunnyhopping comes in handy when you're on the run and need to make an escape. You can easily bunnyhop over cars and even some small walls and fences. Walking/Running --------------- There's nothing wrong with walking and running across town. Sure, it might take you a few hours to go to your next mission, but think about the Stamina you're building! Walking/Running can be dangerous for a couple reasons. If a gang member spots you, there's no car to protect you from those nasty bullets. Also, we all know how crazy some drivers can be. I've been flattened countless times by psycho drivers who think nothing of driving 90 on the sidewalk. Boats ----- Possibly the least used mode of transportation, unfortunately. At various docks across San Andreas you can usually find a variety of boats. They can be jacked just like cars. Boats are a nice way to get from city to city because there's no traffic to deal with, but since you're limited to traveling on water, a better choice would be walking, taking a car or bike, or... Flying! Flying ------ Finally, the fastest and most entertaining method of transportation of all: Flying! After a certain point in the game, a wide range of helicopters and airplanes become available to you. Flying may be the most difficult way to travel, but once you master it, it's a blast! You can easily travel from place to place and not have to worry about traffic! Plus, there's nothing like jumping out of a plane with or without a parachute. =============================================================================== ----- Home Sweet Home -------------------- (C0204) =============================================================================== Just like in GTA III and GTA Vice City, you have a Safe House where you can Save your game and even store cars in a garage. There are many different properties across San Andreas that you are able to buy. Before you buy them, they show up as small little house blips on your map. After you buy them, they will show up as a small floppy disk blip. You can enter your home by stepping into the marker at the door. Inside the house there is a floppy disk icon that you can walk into to save your game. When you save your game, six in-game hours will pass, your health will be replenished, and any wanted level you might have had will be gone. Depending on which property you're at, you can store a certain amount of cars in the garage. These cars will be saved in the garage until you decide to take them out again. Also, as you complete certain parts of the game, some of your earnings will appear at your home. =============================================================================== ----- Character Stats -------------------- (C0205) =============================================================================== If you haven't already noticed, you have an array of stats that you can build up over the course of the game. Unfortunately, these stats can also deplete. To view your character stats in-game, open up your start menu and go to the "Stats" section. This is the complete list of stats. For a smaller list, hold down L1 while not in the start menu, and they'll pop up in the bottom left corner of the screen. Here is a complete list of stats, what they mean, how you can raise them, and why they deplete: Fat --- Your Fat statistic goes up when you eat food. To make it go down, simply work out, run around, swim, or ride a bike. You don't want to be fat, but you do want to have _some_ fat. If you have no fat whatsoever, when you perform any physical activity, your muscle will decrease. So be sure to eat food occasionally, even if your energy bar is full. Stamina ------- The higher your Stamina, the longer you can sprint without getting tired. This is the same with swimming and biking. It increases your endurance in all physical activities. To increase your stamina, you have to run, swim, ride a bike, run on the treadmill, or ride the stationary bike. Your Stamina cannot decrease. Total Respect ------------- Respect is only for recruiting your gang members and making them follow you around. The higher your respect, the more members you can recruit. Your respect usually goes up just by completing missions. You can also kill enemy gang members, or take over territories to increase your respect. This stat decreases if you kill one of your own gang members, if one of your territories is lost, or if one of the gang members you recruited is killed. Lung Capacity ------------- This is a simple stat. You want a high lung capacity because it enables you to hold your breath underwater for longer periods of time. This stat is increased by swimming underwater. It cannot decrease. Sex Appeal ---------- You'll need high Sex Appeal if you want to get certain girlfriends. The clothes you wear, the car you drive, your haircut, and your muscle, all effect your Sex Appeal. You'll need the most expensive and the best looking to raise your Sex Appeal to the max. Muscle ------ By increasing your muscle, you become stronger. Your punches hit with greater force and do more damage. Also, a high muscle stat effects your Sex Appeal and your respect positively as well. To raise your muscle, you need to work out using the free weights or the dumb-bell. Your muscle depletes if you do any other physical activity and you have no fat to burn. Or, over a long period of time (even if you aren't moving) your muscle will decrease if you have no fat. Driving Skill ------------- A high Driving Skill is good. It means that any car you drive will handle better. To increase it you simply drive! This skill can not decrease. Flying Skill ------------ Flying Skill is like Driving Skill, but it deals with all air vehicles. Any air vehicle handles better with a high flying skill. This stat is raised by flying and will not decrease. Bike Skill ---------- This skill deals with motorcycles. Increase it by riding a motorcycle and you will be less likely to fall off of any motorcycle with a high Bike Skill. This skill cannot decrease. Cycling Skill ------------- With a higher Cycling Skill, you will be less likely to fall off of a Bicycle. Also, you can bunnyhop higher with a high Cycling Skill. Raise this stat by riding a Bicycle. Your Cycling Skill can't decrease. Weapon Skill ------------ You have a weapon skill for every weapon. There are three skill levels: Poor, Gangster, and Hitman. As your weapon skill increases, that particular weapon will be more accurate and can shoot farther. Also, as you move to a new skill level, special abilities will be unlocked with that weapon. Increase this stat by using that particular weapon. This skill cannot decrease. =============================================================================== ----- The Cops and Getting Busted -------------------- (C0206) =============================================================================== Busted ------ Yuck, you've been caught by the police. To get busted, you first need to have a wanted level. With a wanted level the police try to catch/kill you. If a cop knocks you down while you have a wanted level, you will get busted. When you're busted, you are taken to the local Police Station, stripped of all your weapons, and even some of your well earned money is taken away. Also, if you are busted while in the middle of the mission, you automatically fail the mission. Your Wanted Level ----------------- One Star - You can get your first star by doing many things. If you so much ======== as injure someone (punch or shoot them) while a cop is watching, steal a car while a cop is watching, blow a car up while a cop is watching, shoot a bullet at anything while a cop is near, shoot or hit a cop, steal or try to steal a police car, punch, hit or shoot a police car, or enter a police-only area, you will receive your first star. The cops aren't very aggressive at this point. You might have a cop or two in a motorcycle or police car on you, but most times you probably won't even see a cop. Unfortunately, even at one star, the police will still use their pistols. Two Stars - After you have your first star you can get a second star by simply ========= continually committing the offenses found above. Blowing up cars or killing the police is the quick route to two stars. You still only have police cars, police motorcycles, and police on foot on you, but they are a bit more aggressive and come in higher numbers. A lot more gunfire will be coming from the police and they are more likely to stay on your tail when you try to run. Three Stars - To gain three stars just keep killing those cops! Blow up =========== police cars, shoot anything in sight, run over pedestrians. Just keep it up and three stars will be yours. This is where the cops get deadly. Now, not only do you have police cars/motorcycles on your tail, but helicopters are after you as well. The helicopters can follow you nearly anywhere and they'll even shoot down at you. The police are pissed off now and will try to run you off the road or run you over. The police even sets up road blocks on occasion. Four Stars - Commit even more crimes to get four stars. I think you get the ========== idea. Kill cops, blow up their cars/motorcycles/helicopters. All of these will easily send you to four stars. The SWAT team has been called in. Driving Enforcers, they'll give you hell until you die or get to a Pay N Spray. The SWAT team uses Tec-9s. Very deadly compared to the previous cops who shot at you with pistols. Multiple SWAT team members will exit the Enforcers and drop down from helicopters. Five Stars - To get your fifth star, do what you did to get your previous four ========== stars. Now you're faced with the FBI. Much tougher than the SWAT team because they use SMGs. If you give them the chance to get out their Ranchers, the FBI will have your body filled with bullets before you can react to the gunfire. Six Stars - Getting six stars is very tough to do. Just keep killing the ========= police (Don't worry. at Five Stars there will be a very healthy supply of them). Blow up their cars, trucks, motorcycles, and helicopters. Eventually, you'll get that sixth star! Now you've done it... The Army has been called in and they'll come after you in Rhinos and Barracks OLs. These guys aren't playing games and they will do whatever it takes to kill you. Chances are, you won't live to see the Pay N Spray sign. Losing Your Wanted Level ------------------------ Ah yes, now that you know how to gain a wanted level, I'm sure you're dying to know how to get rid of it! To lose your wanted level there are a few things you can do. First off, if you have three or less stars you can simply drive around or hide in a secluded area (not committing any crimes) and the stars will eventually go away by themselves. If you already have four or more stars, this won't help you. If you have 4, 5, or 6 stars, there are only a few things you can do. Scattered throughout San Andreas are Police Bribes. They are little icons that look like police badges. By walking into one, you will lose a single star. The best way to lose all of your stars is by visiting a Pay N Spray. Drive into one and your car will be resprayed, and all of your stars disappear will begin flashing. The stars will completely disappear after a few seconds. You've lost the police's attention, but if you commit any crimes while these stars are flashing, all stars will come back. Changing clothes has the same effect as entering a Pay N Spray. Buy new clothes or change clothes at your house to get rid of a wanted level. You can also simply save your game to lose any stars. =============================================================================== ----- The Hospital and Being Wasted -------------------- (C0207) =============================================================================== Getting wasted means you were killed. You died! You are wasted when your energy bar (the red bar at the top right part of the screen) is completely depleted. You lose energy for many reasons. If you get hit/punched, shot, hit by a car, are too close to an explosion, catch on fire, crash and fly off of a bike, are underwater after you run out of breath, fall from a high place, and even if you haven't eaten in a long time. This is very similar to getting busted because when you are wasted, you go to the nearest hospital and are stripped of your weapons and even lose some of your money. A death while in the middle of a mission results in mission failure. =============================================================================== ----- Stores and Businesses -------------------- (C0208) =============================================================================== Pay N Spray ----------- Pay N Sprays are located all over San Andreas. They are marked on your map with a gray spray can. To respray your car you need to drive into the garage at a Pay N Spray. After you stop inside the garage, the door to the garage will close, you will lose $100 and your car will be resprayed. The reason you respray your car is because you have a wanted level and you want to get rid of it. Respraying your car gets rid of your stars. However, if you commit a crime while your stars are still flashing, you will regain the cops attention. Ammu-Nation ----------- Weapons, Weapons, Weapons! You’ve got to have a nice supply of weapons! This is where Ammu-Nation comes in. Ammu-Nation is marked on your map with a gray pistol. Inside an Ammu-Nation you can talk to the owner and buy various weapons and inside some there is a special room for gun training. As the game progresses you can complete more and more challenges inside Ammu-Nation. Restaurants ----------- Now, you may have noticed a new feature in San Andreas; You have to eat to keep your energy up! If you do not eat your health will slowly deplete and you'll eventually die. A few restaurants for you to stop at are Burger Shot, Cluckin' Bell, and The Well Stacked Pizza Co. Burger Shots are marked on your map with a cheese burger. Cluckin' Bells are marked with a yellow... I personally have no idea what the hell the blip is. It's a yellow blob that I often mistake for the yellow blip that appears when doing missions. Finally, The Well Stacked Pizza Co. is marked with a pizza slice blip. To buy things, go inside a restaurant and step into the small red blip. Gym --- The gym is a place where you can raise your muscle and stamina stats. You can work out for only a limited time, however. After a certain point you will have reached your limit for the day, but you can come back tomorrow. Once you have built up enough muscle, you will be able to fight the gym trainer at the gym. After defeating him, he'll teach you some new fighting moves. Clothing Stores --------------- There are many clothing stores and they sell all different types of clothes. To buy clothes you need to go inside the store and step into the red marker that's outside the changing room. Then you can try on every piece of clothing the store has to offer. The clothes you wear effect your sex appeal as well as your respect. =============================================================================== ----- Gang Wars and Territories -------------------- (C0209) =============================================================================== After completing the mission, "Doberman", given to you by Sweet, this whole idea of gang wars and territories will be introduced. There are certain blocks of land that gangs consider "turf". These blocks are territories. Depending on whos territory it is, it will be shaded that gang's color on the map. Gang Wars --------- To take over an enemy gang's territory, you must incite a gang war in that territory. To start a gang war you need to find a territory that is controlled by another gang (ex. Ballas, Vagos). The map is shaded purple for Ballas, yellow for Vagos, and green for Grove Street (that's you). To begin a gang war you have to kill around three gang members. Maybe more or less, but it's around three. Gang members usually travel in big groups of about five, so killing a group will easily provoke a gang war. You will receive a message at the bottom of the screen when you've provoked a war. The gang war consists of three waves of enemy gang members. The waves get harder as they progress (first wave being the easiest, third being hardest). The first wave usually carries Micro SMGs. The second carries Micro SMGs and SMGs. Finally, the third usually have some AK47s in the mix. Do not leave the territory you are attacking for an extended amount of time until you've taken it over. If you do, the enemy will take it back from you and you'll have to provoke the war again. Finally, be sure to search the streets of the territory you are in during a gang war. Health and Armor pickups spawn in the streets during a gang war. Defending Turf -------------- Enemy gangs can also attack your turf! A message will pop up saying "Our hood is under attack!" The territory that is being attacked will flash on your map. To avoid losing it, drive there quickly and kill off any enemy gang members until the territory returns to it's normal state. You can also avoid a gang war by quickly saving the game when your hood is attacked. Six hours will pass in-game when you save and it will be like the attack never happened. Why take over territories? -------------------------- You should take over territories for many reasons. For instance, if you take every single territory, you will be able to drive through Los Santos in peace for once! No enemy gangs gunning your car down as you drive by. Also, the more territories you control, the more money you will make. This money will appear outside of the Johnson House. Taking over territories does NOT effect your completion % and is not required for 100% completion of the game. =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -= III. WALKTHROUGH =- (C030A) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== Since this game is so huge, the Walkthrough is split into many different sections. If you wish to find a certain character's missions or an exact mission, use the Find feature (Control + F). Simply hold down Ctrl + F on your keyboard. Then type in the name of the character or mission you are looking for (spelled correctly) and hit enter. ==================================================== __ ___ ____ ____ ____ _ _ _____ ____ ____ / / / _ // __/ / __// _ // \/ //_ _// _ // __/ / /_ / / //_ / /_ // _ // / / / / / //_ / /___//___//___/ /___//_//_//_/\_/ /_/ /___//___/ - Los Santos Missions - (C0301) ==================================================== =============================================================================== ----- Prologue -------------------- =============================================================================== Arriving in San Andreas ----------------------- The man you see is Carl Johnson (CJ) and you'll be playing as him throughout the game. When we first see CJ, he's just arrived at Los Santos International Airport. We hear a previous phone call, the reason for CJs trip to Los Santos. It's Carl's brother, Sweet, calling about their mom; She's dead. Carl's taxi gets pulled over by a few cops and CJ is cuffed and thrown into the back of their car. After stripping him of his weapon and money, the cops drop Carl off in the worst place in the world: Rollin Heights Balla country. CJ hasn't represented Grove Street since he was last in Los Santos 5 years ago, but the Ballas still won't hesitate in killing him. Finally, you gain control of Carl Johnson. Before you do anything, I suggest you open up your menu with the Start Button, going into Display and turning the subtitles on. This way, you'll always know what people are saying. In front of you is a bike. Walk forward with the left analog stick and stand next to the bike. Once you're next to it, press Triangle to get on. Now, if you've played any of the previous GTAs, you know that you've never gotten to ride a bike. The controls are very similar to that of an automobile. To begin pedaling, hold down the X button. If you wish to pedal faster, tap X repeatedly. The Square button is used to brake and reverse if you're already stopped. R1 can also be used to brake. Steer the bike with the left analog stick and make your way to the hood. The hood is the blip on the map marked CJ. Use the radar and ride there. Feel free to take a few detours and explore the city. By riding around only a few minutes you'll see your Cycling Skill go up! When you arrive at Grove street you'll see your destination: a red marker in front of a house. Press Triangle again to get off the bike and step into the marker. Big Smoke --------- REWARD: None Carl walks into the house and finds a picture of his mother. As he's looking at it a large man storms into the room screaming. He runs at Carl with a baseball bat, but CJ recognizes the big man as Big Smoke. He tells Big Smoke who he is and Smoke tosses the bat down and the two reunite. After a short reunion, Big Smoke says it's time to visit your brother at the cemetery. You two climb into Smoke's car and head to the cemetery. Sweet & Kendl ------------- REWARD: Respect + At the cemetery you get to meet Sweet and Kendl. Sweet is your brother, and Kendl your sister. A man named Ryder is at the cemetery as well, but he doesn't talk. Sweet's pissed off at everyone at the moment. He's mad at you for leaving Los Santos 5 years ago, and he's mad at Kindl because she's dating a Mexican guy named Cesar. After Kindl leaves, Sweet begins complaining about how things are going in the city. Everybody's killing each other. As the group begins to leave the cemetery, a car of Ballas performs a Drive by. No one is hurt, but Big Smoke's car is toast. Guess we'll have to resort to bikes again. Hop on a bike and follow Sweet. You'll know which person Sweet is 'cause he has the purple arrow over him. If you ever lose sight of him, just look at your radar. The blue blip represents Sweet. The Ballas shouldn't be too much of a problem for you, just be sure not to slow down too much or they'll run into you from behind. After riding for a minute or two, the group will split up. Your new instructions are to follow Ryder. Not too difficult to do and you'll probably get some more Cycling skill! Finally, you'll arrive at Grove Street once more. Ride into the red marker in the center of the street to complete the mission! Your House ---------- After the mission, the only thing you can do (besides exploring and screwing around) is enter your old house marked with a floppy disk on your map. Your house is close to Sweet's house on Grove Street. You can walk to the marker in front of the door to enter the house. Inside, there are few things for you to do. If you walk in, directly to your right is a television. If you approach the TV and press Triangle you can play the videogame, "They Crawled From Uranus". I actually had a little fun with this game for a few minutes. Next, go up the stairs and you'll see another door with a yellow marker in front of it. Inside that room you can change clothes whenever you like. For now just enter the room that is across from that door. This is the bedroom. On the far side of the bed is a camera. Pick it up if you wish. It isn't necessary that you pick up the camera, but it could be fun to take pictures of things in San Andreas. Now you should go downstairs. Enter the kitchen and step into the little disk in front of the window. You can save your game now, so do it! Ok, since there's nothing else to do in here, exit the house the same way you came in. When you get back out to Grove Street you are instructed to visit Ryder's house down the street (he's actually just next door). At the same time you will get a phone call from Sweet. He just wants to warn you about hostile gangs that would kill you at sight. Anyways, walk over to Ryder's house (marked R on your map) and step into the pink marker in front. =============================================================================== ----- Lance Wilson - "Ryder" -------------------- =============================================================================== Ryder ----- REWARD: Respect + Ryder is mad at the owner of a pizza place and he wants you to come with him so he can teach the owner a lesson. Jump into Ryder's car with him and begin to drive. While in the car Carl mentions a man named Reece who runs a barber shop. Follow the yellow blip on the radar and stop the car in the marker in front of the barber shop. Get out of the car and enter the shop by stepping into the yellow marker by the door. Once inside, walk into the red marker next to the chair to sit down. In order to progress with the mission you have to get a haircut, so choose one that you like. After you buy a haircut, press Triangle to get out of the seat and exit the barber shop. Ryder makes fun of your haircut and tells you to get something to eat. Cross the street and enter The Well Stacked Pizza Co. Walk to the back of the restaurant and step into the red marker to order some food. There are various things you can buy, all different in price depending on how much energy they give you. You should have full health, so buy the cheapest meal, the Buster, for 2 dollars. If you do need the health, buy a more expensive meal. After purchasing, press Triangle to resume with the mission. Ryder will walk up to the register and pull a gun on the employee. Carl says Ryder's crazy and suggests we leave, and as Ryder is talking to Carl, the employee pulls a shotgun from under the counter and fires at Carl and Ryder. The two of you run out the front door and you gain control of CJ again. Run across the street and get into Ryder's car quick! The Pizza Stack worker will come after you and the bullets from the shotgun aren't very nice to your health bar. When you enter the car, a new blip will appear on your radar. It's Ryder's house. Drive Ryder back to his home. When you arrive, stop the car in the red marker in front to complete the mission. NOTES: Sweet will now give you missions. =============================================================================== ----- Sean Johnson - "Sweet" -------------------- =============================================================================== Tagging Up Turf --------------- REWARD: $200 Respect + Sweet hands you a can of spray paint and instructs you to paint over Balla tags with your own. As you begin to leave, Sweet decides he will come along and tells you to wait up. You both get in the car and you gain control. Drive to the blip on the radar. This is where the first tag can be found. Stop the car in the marker and Sweet will get out to tag the first one. He tells you that there are two more tags in this neighborhood. They show up as green blips on the radar. It's rather easy to spot a tag. Just look for the purple/pink paint on walls and buildings. To spray over one, make sure you have the spray paint in your hand and stand in front of a tag. Hold down R1 so you can target the tag and hold Circle or L1 to spray. It takes just a couple seconds to tag. You will also notice that when you get a tag, you get a message saying "Tags Sprayed X/100". There are 100 of these tags in San Andreas and you have to spray all of them if you want 100% completion. Another thing to be aware of is that you get the police's attention if they see you tagging. Once you've sprayed over these two tags, get back into Sweet's car. Now you're headed for Balla territory. Go to the yellow blip on the radar and stop in the red marker when you arrive. You get out and Sweet drives on to another neighborhood. There are two more tags here for you to spray. They show up as green blips on the radar like the last two. The tag closest to you is easy to get, but the second one is next to two Ballas who will attack you at sight. Here we get to learn another use for the spray can. Approach the Ballas and target one with R1. Then hold down circle while walking up to him to spray him in the face. If you spray long enough, you'll eventually knock him out. Take out the two Ballas and then spray the tag. Now another yellow blip appears on your radar. Follow the blip and you'll come to a red marker next to a fence. Stand in the marker to learn how to hop a fence. Stand in front of the fence and press Square to hop it. Run forward until you come to a rather tall fence. Walk up to it and press Square to grab onto the top and press Square again to pull yourself up and over the fence. Look to your left and hop the two walls to get on top of the building. The tag you're looking for is on the north wall. Spray the tag and Ryder will drive up. He tells you to get in the car quick. Jump down from the building and get in the car. Next, drive back to Sweet's house to complete the mission. NOTES: After completing this mission you can now find a can of spray paint up in the bedroom of your house. You will also receive a phone call from Officer Hernandez, a friend of Officer Tenpenny, after completing this mission. He warns you that leaving the town would be a big mistake. Cleaning The Hood ----------------- REWARD: Respect + Sweet's tired of all the crack dealers roaming the hood, so you're asked to go teach some of the dealers a lesson, "Clean the hood". You and Ryder get in the car to get some help from B Dup and Big Bear, but B Dup isn't very happy to see you. After a few threats from B Dup, Carl tries recruiting Big Bear, but crack has turned him into B Dup's slave. I guess it's up to just you and Ryder. When you exit the building step into the car and head for the blip on your radar (it's just down the street). When you find the crack dealer, it turns out he's selling to a homie from Grove Street. Get out of the car and approach the dealer. Target him with R1 and just keep tapping on circle. It will take quite a few punches to kill the man, but when he's dead pick up his bat. Ryder recognizes the dealer and says his house is nearby. Run to the man's house labeled on your map with the yellow marker. Be sure not to leave Ryder behind because he runs pretty slow. Step into the red marker for a small cutscene. It's time to go inside and give your bat a taste of more blood. When you get into the house, a few Ballas will enter the room (some with bats). Not too challenging. Target with R1 and keep jamming on the Circle and Triangle buttons to take them all out. Once they're all dead get out of here and find a car and drive back to Sweet's house to finish the mission. NOTES: A good way to make a lot of money is to search Los Santos for the Drug Dealers like the one you killed in this mission. You'll recognize them because they're wearing a black tank top, black pants, a gold chain, and a black beanie. They also stand out because you'll probably find them doing business with someone. People tend to crowd around the Drug Dealers. Kill these Drug dealers because they drop a lot of cash! Usually about $2000. Drive-Thru ---------- REWARD: $200 Respect + Well, the gang's hungry so we're headed for Cluckin' Bell. You're driving so get in the car and head for the yellow blip on your radar. Carl and Sweet order a number 9, Ryder orders a number 6, and Smoke orders the whole place. On the way out of the drive-thru, a car full of Ballas drives by. They're headed for the hood! Catch up to them and kill them before they kill your homies! Since Sweet and Ryder will be shooting at the Ballas from the car, I wouldn't worry about ramming them because you could end up blowing your car up. The safest way to go about this is to just stay right behind the Ballas' car the entire time. This is better than driving along side the Ballas because that way you could risk running into signs, street lights, or other cars. If you stay right behind them, both Ryder and Sweet will still shoot, but you won't damage your car. Eventually, the Ballas' car will catch fire and a couple of them will bail. You can recognize them thanks to the arrows above their head. I suggest just running them over with your car or letting Sweet and Ryder blast 'em. When they're all dead, drive back to the Grove and stop in the marker. Ryder and Sweet will get out, but Smoke asks for a ride back to his place. Follow the yellow marker on your radar and drop Smoke off to complete the mission. Nines And AK's -------------- REWARD: Respect + Carl decides that the gang needs some weapons. There's a man named Emmet who can help you out in the weapon's department. He doesn't have much, but he's the only person who you have to go to for guns at the moment. Take Smoke with you and drive down to Emmet's place marked on the radar with the yellow blip. When you get there you'll get to use a pistol and practice shooting bottles. Rather boring, but you have to do it. Try shooting the bottles without the auto-aim for a little more challenge. To do this, hold down R1 to aim and then move the right thumbstick to bring up your crosshairs. Luckily, after you shoot the boring glass, bottles you get to shoot a car's gas tank causing it to explode. Crouch down and use your manual aim to shoot the gas tank above the back left tire. After you're through with the tutorial, drive Smoke back to his house. After dropping him off you get a phone call telling you to buy some new clothes from Binco. Drive over to the store and you'll get to buy some threads. Pick out whatever you like, although you don't have to buy a thing to pass the mission. To pass all you need to do is enter and exit the clothes store. NOTES: Big Smoke will now give you missions. The blip on your radar labeled BS is where you can find him. First, I suggest you finish all of Sweet's missions before starting Smoke's. Drive-By ------- REWARD: $500 Respect + Sweet doesn't tell you what we're doing, but by looking at the name of the mission, you should be able to take a guess. Ryder complains that Carl is always the one who drives. He even makes fun of your driving. To get Ryder to shut up, Sweet tells him that he's such a good shot that he needs to be shooting, not driving. When you get in the car you should drive to Rollin' Heights Ballas country. We're going to be doin' some drive-by's. Drive to the red marker and stop. When you get there you get to see your target: A group of ballas about to get in their car. When you gain control of the car again, you should see a red blip on your radar. Drive to the red blip to find the Ballas and be sure to keep close to their car so the gang can blast 'em. I got lucky on this first part because the dumb Ballas ran into a telephone pole before they even moved 10 feet. I suggest following the same strategy you used in the mission, "Drive-thru". Just be careful with your driving. Keep an eye on your Car Health and try not to run into anything. After you take out the first car of Ballas, you should get out of the car and pick up their weapons and money (they drop a nice amount of cash). Now, it's time to hunt down some more Ballas. A new blip will appear on your radar. New targets! This time there's a bunch more Ballas. They aren't in a car so it should be easier. I found it easy just to pull up beside the group of Ballas and just hit the gas and then go in reverse repeatedly as the Sweet, Smoke, and Ryder light them up. Another option is run them over with you car, but this will do a bit of damage to it. After your second group of Ballas you have to go kill even more! Ride to the new red blip to find another group of Ballas similar to the previous. Take them out the same way and be sure to pick up all of their money and weapons. Finally, there's one last group of Ballas you need to kill. Go to the red blip and let your gang shoot them down. Now, after all of this killing you have gotten the cops' attention and have two Stars. Drive to the yellow blip on your map and pull into the Pay N Spray. Normally, it costs $100 to repaint your car, but this time it's free. After repainting your car, you'll lose the cops. Drive back to Sweet's to finish the mission. Finally, a real reward! NOTES: You can now receive missions from Ryder. The blip on your radar labeled R is where you can find him. First, I suggest you finish all of Sweet's missions, and then Big Smoke's missions before starting Ryder's. It's always best to complete missions in the order you receive them. Sweet's Girl ------------ REWARD: Respect + Finally, a pretty challenging mission. You walk into Sweet's house to find no one home. Just as you're leaving you get a phone call from Sweet. He's pinned down in the Seville hood and he and his girlfriend need a ride out of there, and fast. He says you should stop by Emmet's to grab a weapon. First, you're going to find a ride. If there isn't a car parked on Grove Street, run past your house and make a left just as you pass it. This alley will take you right to another street where there are plenty of cars driving by. Steal one and head to Emmet's place if you need ammo. Now, after the previous mission, you should have a weapon and plenty of ammunition, but if you don't, stop by Emmet's place to pick up a pistol. You can locate Emmet's place by following the pistol blip on your radar. After you have a gun, drive as fast as you can to the red blip on your radar. Sweet's health is in the top right corner of the screen and is depleting pretty quickly. When you arrive you should see there are quite a few bad guys this time around. To rescue Sweet, what you need to do is kill all of the men with the arrows above their head. This can be done several ways. You could run over the men by taking a couple passes, but this could get you killed when they fill your car with bullets. I suggest you make one single pass and run over as many as possible, then turn around and stop the car in the middle of the street. Get out and duck down behind the car by pushing in the left analog stick. Auto-aim someone and roll out from behind the car (move the left analog stick left or right while ducked and aiming) and take a few shots before rolling back behind the car. You could also duck down behind the car, take aim, and then stand up, take a few shots and duck back down. If the car you're behind catches on fire, run away from it quickly. After it explodes, it still provides cover from your enemy's bullets, just don't walk into the flames! After the Seville boys are dead, your phone will ring. Answer it with L1. It's Sweet. After complimenting you, he asks you to get a car to pick him and his girl up. Find a nearby four door car and drive it into the marker. Sweet and his girl will climb into the car, just as a couple cars pull up. It's more of the Seville Boys! Hit the gas and drive back to Sweet's place safely! Stop in the marker at his house and the mission is complete. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Alternate Strategy - Mission: Sweet's Girl I have a different solution for the mission of "Sweet's Girl". What I did was, before I started the mission I went and got a 4 door car and made friends with 3 gang homies WITH GUNS. I got back in the car and my new homies followed me in. I drove to Sweet's house and started the mission. When I got back outside da homies were still waiting and followed me into the car. Drive to the location. Run over 1 or 2 of the Seville boys and the rest of your gang will shoot the remaining enemies. Your gang will mysteriously disappear when Sweet and his girl need to get in. Strategy by Aaron Exelbirt -- Thank you! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Cesar Vialpando --------------- REWARD: $50 - $1,000 depending on wager. When you walk in the house Sweet and Kendl are fighting again. Kendl is about to go out with some Mexican and Sweet doesn't approve. After a heated argument, Kendl leaves the house to go see her boyfriend. It's up to you to follow her and make sure nothing happens to her. She's meeting her boyfriend at some car club, so you're going to have to pick up a car from the garage in Willowfield. Drive to the yellow blip and pull into the marker. A man drives out of the garage with a Lowrider. This guy owes Sweet a favor so he's hooking you up with this ride. You'll need it to get into the car show that Kendl's going to. Once you have your car, you have to drive into his garage and take a look at some Car Upgrades to progress the mission. You don't have to buy anything, and I really don't suggest you do. Press triangle when you are done to exit the garage. Now you need to drive to the yellow blip. Be careful not to blow the car up. The steering on the lowrider sucks, so it is easy to blow up. When you arrive at the car show, stop in the marker. This game is pretty easy. You can wager a minimum of $50 and a maximum of $1000. I would wager $1000 because it isn't very difficult. Use the Square button to increase your wager and the Circle button to Decrease your wager by $1. Hold either button down to increase your wager faster. When you are ready, press the X button. A nearly naked chick gets into your car and the competition begins. In this game all you use is the right thumbstick. Arrows slide across the bottom of the screen. You need to push the right thumbstick in the correct direction when these arrows slide into the circle in the bottom center of the screen. It can be very easy push the analog stick too early, so wait until it is right in the middle. Depending how well your timing is, you receive points. Your opponent isn't very good, so you shouldn't have much trouble. After the competition, a man named Cesar Vialpando starts holding your sister. This starts a small argument, but it turns out that Cesar isn't such a bad guy. After the cutscene, the mission is complete. Your reward depends on how much money you wagered on the competition. No respect is earned. NOTES: You get a phone call from Cesar shortly after completing the mission. You can now receive missions from Cesar. He is shown on the radar with a blip marked CV. Since this was Sweet's last mission, you should begin Big Smoke's missions. After Smoke's missions, start Ryder's, and then you should do Cesar's missions. =============================================================================== ----- Melvin Harris - "Big Smoke" -------------------- =============================================================================== OG Loc ------ REWARD: Respect + Sweet and Smoke are about to go to the jail and pick up a man named Jeffrey. It seems he's getting out today. You're asked to drive, so when you get in the car, head for the yellow blip on your radar. When you arrive, Jeffrey is just walking out of prison. Don't call him Jeffrey though. He wants to be called OJ Loc. Well, OG Loc just gets out of jail and he wants to go kill some man who stole his rhymes. Everyone enters the car again. Drive to the new yellow blip on your radar. Don't flip over or blow the car up though, cause the rest of the group won't get out if the car is in flames. You fail the mission if Smoke's car is destroyed. When you get to Freddy's house, stop in the marker. Smoke and Sweet are going to head back home, but you volunteer to stay with OG Loc and help him take care of Freddy. Walk into the red marker at Freddy's door to ring the doorbell. As Loc is running his mouth, Freddy takes off out the back door and hops on a motorcycle. Luckily, there's another motorcycle at the house. You and OG get on and you're driving, like usual. Your objective is simply to kill Freddy. Freddy will drive all over the place, but usually cuts through alleys. Try to keep fairly close to Freddy so OG Loc can shoot at him. OG Loc really sucks at shooting so you probably won't be able to kill Freddy while he's on his bike. Eventually, Freddy will stop and get off his bike near some of his gang members. Run him over or get off the bike and shoot him. After Freddy's death, Loc wants you to drive him to his new job at Burger Shot. Drive to the blip on the radar and stop in the marker behind the restaurant to complete the mission. NOTES: OG Loc will now give you missions. You can find him by going to the blip on your map marked OG. I suggest completing Smoke, Ryder, and Cesar's missions before working for OG Loc. Running Dog ----------- REWARD: Respect + Smoke says he has a cousin that's coming in from Mexico. You're instructed to go to Emmet's and pick up a weapon. Doesn't quite sound like your ordinary cousin huh? You probably already have a gun or two from the past few missions unless you've died recently, but if you need one, stop by Emmet's. The drive to the blip on your radar to find Smoke's "Cousin". Well, it turns out that Smoke's cousin, Mary, he's picking up is really Marijuana. We stop the car in front of two guys who refuse to give any of their stuff to Smoke, thanks to his smart mouth. "Coughie up el weedo, before I blow your brains out all over the patio". The two guys walk off, ignoring Smoke. Big Smoke gets out of the car, and takes one of the men out with a baseball bat. The other dealer runs for it and it's up to you to kill him. It's rather simple to do. Tap the X Button to sprint and use the Square button to hop over fences. Chase down the dealer (marked on the radar with a red blip) and shoot him down with your gun. The mission is complete the second the guy dies. Wrong Side Of The Tracks ------------------------ REWARD: Respect + Smoke wants you to take him somewhere. When you get in the car he tells you we're going to Unity Station. Follow the yellow blip on the radar to Unity Station. Stop in the marker and we'll see a train driving by. A few gang members jump onto the moving train and Smoke says that we gotta kill them. Jump on the Sanchez right next to you and turn onto the railroad tracks. The train is marked on your radar with the red blip. Drive down the tracks and when you reach the train, be sure to stay alongside the right of it. Don't ride right on the track next to the train, but stick to the right of the track. It gives Smoke a better shot so he can kill the gang members quicker. Stay right next to the train where the men are standing so Smoke can constantly shoot. As you're riding you will come to an intersection where a car is stopped. The train will hit the car and knock it right into your path. You won't hit the car if you veer to the left a little so you're almost touching the train. After you pass the car go back to your original position on the right of the track that runs alongside the train. An oncoming train will fly by, but you shouldn't get hit if you are in the spot I told you to get in. Smoke should have all the guys dead by the time the oncoming train passes. He says to head back to his place before the cops arrive on the scene. Go to Smoke's house to complete the mission. Just Business ------------- REWARD: Respect + Smoke wants you to take him Downtown. Follow the blip on your radar and stop at the marker. Smoke's gonna run inside the building. If you hear anything inside he wants you to run inside to help him out. Just 2 seconds after Smoke runs inside you hear your cue. When you get inside there's tons of guys shooting at Smoke. Luckily you have a small wall to protect you. Get ducked down behind the wall and walk to the right. Sit at the very end of the wall and use R1 to auto-aim someone. If you auto-aim someone who is far away or behind something, use R2 and L2 to scroll between targets. Once you have a target, roll to the right and unload. Once your first guy is dead let go of R1 and then press it again to get a new target. Kill as many guys as possible until you start taking some damage. Then roll back to the left so you're behind the wall again. You should be able to take out a lot before you take any real damage. Now that you're back behind the wall you should check out how many more enemies there are and where they are. If you can, target some from behind the wall and shoot them. The ones that run at you can be easily taken out from behind the wall. Once you've killed most of the guys, run out to the center of the room and start picking up money and weapons. If you spot any more enemies, simply auto-target with R1 and light them up. Go to the very back of the room for some body armor. When you've picked up all the goods in the room, walk over to where Smoke is crouched down by the elevator. When you get to him the screen will go black and you're taken up to the roof. This area is easy as well. Auto-aim the guys closest to you and shoot them down. Roll around a lot to get better vantage points. Always stay on the move so you're not an easy target. Once you've killed all the guys closest to you, sprint across the roof and shoot people down as you do. Tap X to sprint and use R1 to auto-aim, then shoot them down and hit R1 again to find a new target. When everyone is dead the screen will go black again and you will appear outside again. Smoke hops on the bike and he's finally driving for once! You jump on the back and it's up to you to gun down the enemy as they chase after you. Since you can't auto-aim while on the back of the bike I suggest aiming with the right analog and shooting with L1. You have unlimited ammunition for this! At first, guys on motorcycles will be after you. For the bikes, try shooting out the driver to take out both men. After a few moments you'll find a huge truck on your tail as well. Don't worry about shooting the truck because it cannot be blown up. Eventually, the truck hits a bus anyways and is thrown off of your trail. After fighting off a lot of motorcycles and cars, Smoke drives down into the Aqueducts. You tell him that it's a dead end, but Smoke has it all planned out. There's a small sewage tunnel at the end that you can go through. A lot more motorcycles and cars come up to you from behind. Just use the same strategy as before and shoot motorcycles first, cars second. The guys on motorcycles do more damage than the cars. About half way through the Aqueducts the truck returns again. A cutscene commences and the truck drops from the road above. This time he has a load of a few cars. The big truck will drive in front of you and Smoke and begin releasing cars. Just ignore the truck and continue shooting the enemy behind you. None of the cars being released will hit you, but some will fly by and hit the enemy. When Smoke yells at you to shoot out the gate up ahead, spin around and look ahead. Off to the right is a gate with two men in front of it. Quickly shoot the gate with your gun to break it. Then focus your attention and try to kill the two men. Once you've made it into the tunnel, turn back around and take out even more motorcycles. In this tunnel there are barrels at every turn. Explosive barrels... Wait for just the right moment when the motorcycles are rounding the corner, and shoot a barrel to take out everyone behind you. Finally, Smoke stops the motorcycle and leaves you to go back to his home. Mission Complete. NOTES: This is the last mission Big Smoke gives you so you should now start with Ryder's missions. =============================================================================== ----- Lance Wilson - "Ryder" -------------------- =============================================================================== Home Invasion ------------- REWARD: Respect + Ryder found someone who has some real weapons. Not the crap Emmet has at his place. When you get control of your truck, drive to the yellow blip on the radar. Be careful driving, because you don't want to blow your truck up. Luckily, this thing is incredibly hard to blow up by flipping it over. The truck will flip, but usually will flip back onto it's wheels by itself. Drive to the blip carefully but quickly. A timer in the top right corner of the screen shows you how much longer until daylight. We gotta get to this house, steal the weapons, and get out before the old man wakes up (at daylight). When you get into the house, it's actually very simple. You just need to search the place for small boxes that have the weapons in them. You'll need to grab three of them and carry them out to the truck one at a time. There's actually 5 boxes in the house, but only three are needed. The only catch is that there's a man sleeping upstairs. If you make too much noise, you'll wake him up and you'll fail the mission. There is a bar in the top right corner of the screen that tells you how much noise you're making. The first box is to the right just as you enter the house. The box is in the corner behind the green cannon and under the deer's head that's on the wall. Once you have the box, exit the house very slowly the way you came in. Walk to the back of the truck and press Triangle to put the box in. The next box can be found by entering the house and turning right again. Go through the door that's next to where the previous box was by simply walking into it. The box is in this room in a corner. You can't miss it since it has the arrow above it. Carry the box back out to the truck slowly. Finally, the last box is up the stairs. When you enter the house the stairs can easily be seen on your left. Go up the stairs and the box is just at the top of them. Walk back outside and drop the box in the truck and then get in the truck. Drive to the lockup marked by the yellow blip on the radar. Park the truck in the lockup to complete the mission. NOTES: You can now perform burglaries at night when you're not on a mission. What you'll need is a truck like the one you used in the mission to load up what you steal. Catalyst -------- REWARD: Respect + What you gotta do is go down to the railroad and check out an ammo train. It's marked on the map with a yellow blip like usual, so drive there. If you don't have a weapon I'd suggest you stop by Emmet's. When you arrive, the Vagos have already got there and are trying to rob the train. There's a battle going down. Park your car in a position so you can hide behind it for cover from the Vagos and get out. Duck down behind the car and start shooting the Vagos down. When they're all dead quickly pick up their money and ammo. Shortly after, a car of Ballas drives up. Get down behind your car again and begin firing away at the Ballas. A good strategy is to focus on blowing the car up that the Ballas drove up in. When it blows it will probably take nearly all the Ballas with it. After they're dead, Ryder tells you to go check on the train. Before you do that, run over to the Ballas' corpses and pick up money and ammunition. Now run over to the red marker next to the train. When you hop onto the train, it begins to move. Ryder is in the back of a car behind you (some other Grove is driving). Throw boxes to Ryder from the train. To throw the boxes hold down L1 to power up your throw. Then let go of L1 to throw. You really don't have to throw very hard to reach Ryder. Once Ryder's car is full of boxes you'll hop off the train and get in with Ryder. You now have a wanted level. Drive to the Pay N Spray nearby to get rid of it. Once you've gotten rid of the cops, drive back to Grove Street to finish the mission. Robbing Uncle Sam ----------------- REWARD: Respect + Ryder has the brilliant idea of stealing weapons from army. Go enter the van that's parked outside of Ryder's place and head to the compound at Ocean Docks. It's marked with a yellow blip on your map. Drive into the marker and Ryder tells you to open the front gate so he can get through. If you're facing the gate, climb over the wall that's to the right of the gate. Make sure you stick as far right as possible and climb over. You will drop down right behind a guard and he'll probably hear you fall. If you have a gun on you, shoot him up, but if not you can still beat him to death. Take his pistol and then shoot the switch next to the gate to open it before any guards run over to you. Ryder will drive through the gate and into the compound. Run behind the van as he drives and take out any guards you see. Ryder will stop in front of a big building with a gate. Shoot the switch that's to the right of the gate. Inside the building are 4 of the boxes you need, a forklift, and two guards. The guards are in the back. One is to the right and one is on the left. Auto-target them and kill them so you can load up the boxes. Get in the forklift and drive over to the cluster of boxes at the back of the building. To pick up a box with the forklift, drive toward a box and let the lift slide under it. Then push up on the right analog to raise the lift. Turn around and drive back to the entrance to the building and drive up to the back of the van. Make sure the lift is high enough to place the box in the van and the box will go in. Repeat the process with the next three boxes inside the building. Whenever you hear gunshot, get out of the forklift and go help Ryder out by shooting the attacking guards. Ryder is a horrible shot and will most likely die if you do not help him. Once you've loaded all four boxes that were inside, get in the forklift and drive out of the building. There are two more boxes out here. If you're facing the back of the van, you should see the boxes to your right. Load them up just like you did with the previous boxes and then get into the van with Ryder. You need to drive back to the lockup marked on your map with the yellow blip. The guards are after you and Ryder will throw boxes at them when you honk the horn (L3). Press R2 + L2 to look behind you while in the car and honk the horn when a car is directly behind you. When you get to the lockup, stop in the red marker to complete this mission. NOTES: This is the last mission Ryder gives you. You should now start Cesar's missions! You is marked on the map with a blip that reads "CV". =============================================================================== ----- Cesar Vialpando -------------------- =============================================================================== High Stakes, Low-Rider ---------------------- REWARD: $1,000 For this mission you will have to be driving a "Low-Rider" car. Some Low-Riders include the Voodoo, Blade, Broadway, Remington, Savanna, Slamvan, and Tornado. They aren't very hard to find. You can always find a Blade driving near the marker where you start the mission. I completed it with a Voodoo which I found in Ganton. Check the "Vehicle List" section for locations of more of these cars. Ok, now that you have a Low-Rider, drive to Cesar's marker to start the mission. There is a race that is about to start nearby and Cesar will lead you to it. When you gain control, follow Cesar in your Low-Rider until you reach the starting point. Drive into the marker to begin the race. When the race first begins, don't worry about getting into 1st place. Since your opponents are all clumped up and driving side by side at the moment it will be a pain to get through all of them and not beat your car to pieces. Just follow slowly behind everyone else until you hit the first marker. To help with this race be sure to look for the arrow on each checkpoint. These arrows will point you in the direction of the next checkpoint. After driving through the first checkpoint, the stretch for the second one is fairly straight. Drive as fast as your car will go when you have straight stretches like this. This should easily put you in first place (your opponents don't drive too fast). Near the middle of the race there will be a section with constant turns. Drive slowly and get ready to turn in the direction the arrow tells you before you even hit the marker. Take these sections safely and slowly because crashing into one pole or one car could lose you the race. On the very last stretch of the race you're driving straight forward along a pier. At this point you should be in first place if you drove well. If you are then you can begin to slow down when you reach the final marker so you don't hit the wall that's behind it when you finish. If you aren't in first place or have someone right on your tail, floor it and drive at top speed right through the final marker. NOTE: Cesar's blip will disappear from the map. You can't receive any more missions from him at the moment. Time to move onto OG Loc. He is represented by an "OG" blip on your map. =============================================================================== ----- Jeffrey Cross - "O.G. Loc" -------------------- =============================================================================== Life's A Beach -------------- REWARD: Respect + You can only start this mission between 22:00 and 6:00. OG Loc spotted a car with a nice sound system that pulled through his drive-thru. It looked like it was headed to the beach for a beach party. When you gain control, hop in any car nearby and drive to the yellow blip on the map. When you get to the beach party, approach the DJ and walk into the small red marker. Reply positively to all of her remarks by pressing right on the D-Pad. You're going to have to do some dancing! To access the sound van you have to score 4000 points or higher. This was fairly easy for me, but depending on your coordination this mission could be a living hell. This mission is very similar to the mission, "Cesar Vialpando". You have to press certain buttons (X, Square, Circle, or Triangle) as they pass through the gray circle at the bottom of the screen. I thought the best way was to tap my foot to the beat of the song or even hum it. You press the buttons along with the beat of the song so this works perfectly. If you fail to score 4000 points or higher, the only thing I can say is to keep practicing and practicing. After the song ends, and if you scored 4000 points or higher, the DJ will compliment you on your moves and ask you to come inside the van. Now's your chance! Reply positively and get into the van. When you get in, slam on the gas and leave the party quickly. Head for the yellow blip on your radar to get to the garage. A car will be chasing after you, but it drives fairly slow so you shouldn't have a problem with him. Concentrate on making it to the garage and not flipping the van (it's pretty easy to flip). Drive safely and stop in the marker to complete the mission. Madd Dogg's Rhymes ------------------ REWARD: Respect + Since OG Loc's rhymes are really awful, it's up to you to drive up to Madd Dogg's mansion and steal his rhyme book. Grab some wheels and drive north, heading for the yellow blip. Now, we have to go through the main door which is around on the back side of the house. Drive up Madd Dogg's long and winding driveway and stop when you come to the mansion. Get out of the car and walk up the inclined walkway that leads to the door with the yellow arrow in front of it. Walk through the door and into Madd Dogg's Crib. Now, the rhyme book we're looking for is in Madd Dogg's recording studio. We have to sneak through the house, killing guards on the way, and get to the recording studio. Don't use any guns for now, because you don't want to alert any of the guards. Plus, performing stealth kills is just damn fun. The first guard is cake. He's right in front of you and standing in the middle of the doorway. Crouch down (L3) and sneak up behind him. With your knife equipped, target the guard with R1 and hit circle to perform the stealth kill. See?? Fun isn't it? Move into the hallway and head for the next room. This next room has a big swimming pool with a guard pacing around. Wait for him to face away from you and sneak behind the pillar nearest you and hide in the shadows. Wait for the guard to come your way. Once he passes you, sneak up behind him like you did the previous guard and perform a stealth kill. Now, run to the other side of the pool and through the walkway into the next room. When you enter the room, you'll see a guard heading in your direction. Sneak over to one of the two rooms on your left and hide in the shadows. Wait for the guard to walk to the doorway and stop. Once he's stopped, get behind him and perform another stealth kill with your knife. Walk into the room that the guard came from and then make a left into another hallway. On your right is a doorway, but it leads to Madd Dogg's gym. You cannot use the gym now because you're on a mission, so just go straight into the next room (a bar area). There is a guard at the bar so you have to stay crouched behind the bar as you walk across the room. Do not kill the guy at the bar. I tried doing that and it alerted the guy that's playing video games in the next room. Simply walk past the bar area and into the room with the man playing video games. You can kill the guy playing video games without alerting anyone, so kill him from behind just like you did the others. Next, move into the hallway that's up ahead and hug the left wall until you come to a small, dark room with some Body Armor in it. Grab the Body Armor and glimpse into the next room. In it is the Rhyme Book! The only thing standing between you and the Rhyme Book is one more guard. Sneak up quietly behind the guard, perform a stealth kill, and grab the Rhyme Book. Now that you have the Rhyme Book, a lot of guards magically appear throughout the mansion. You can use your weapon now, so I would do it. If you came into Madd Dogg's mansion with weapons you can now use them. If not, there is a silenced pistol nearby that will help you. Exit the recording studio and, instead of going the way we came, make a right and follow this hallway as it runs west. Directly ahead of you is a room. Walk into the room and pick up the silenced pistol sitting on the glass table. Now, with a silenced pistol in hand, begin to exit the mansion the way you came. There is one guard standing at one entrance to the room where you found the Body Armor. Sneak slowly and place a well-aimed bullet in his head. Follow the hallway until you come to the area where the man was playing video games. There is a man in this room that will see you the moment you step into the doorway (he's facing the entrance). Crouch down and hold R1 to bring up your crosshairs. Face the wall that is to the left of the entrance and roll to the right. Quickly let go of R1 and then press it again to target the guard. Take him out with a few bullets and move forward into the bar area. There is still a man at the bar, so run into the room and shoot him before he has a chance to react. Now we have two more guards that lie between you and the exit. The first is pacing down the hallway that leads to the bar area. He will walk about half way down the hallway and then turn around and walk back. The second you see him turn around, step into the hallway and gun him down. The last guard is pacing around the pool again. Stand to the left or right of the entrance to the pool area and wait for the guard to pass you. When he has his back turned, kill him with your pistol. Now, that's all of the guards. You can now safely run for the yellow blip and exit the mansion. When you exit you'll see a Mountain Bike in front of you. Hop on the bike and ride to the Burger Shot where OG Loc is waiting (marked with yellow blip on the radar). Drive into the red marker to finish the mission. NOTE: After the mission you'll receive a phone call from Officer Tenpenny. He needs to talk to you about something. He'll be waiting at the doughnut place in Market ("C" blip on your map). You can now do missions for Tenpenny, but let's finish OG Loc's missions first. Management Issues ----------------- REWARD: Respect + This mission can only be received between 12:00 and 17:00. OG Loc wants you to kill Madd Dogg's manager. One of Madd Dogg's Manager's drivers is eating at the Burger Shot across town. Head to the red blip quickly so you can catch the driver as he's leaving the Burger Shot. Just before you get there you'll receive a call from Loc. He tells you that the driver is just now leaving. You're told to damage the driver's car to get him to get out, but I simply stopped in the driver's path and then jacked the car. It's much easier this way because if you damage the car you'll end up having to get it repaired at a Pay N Spray. Once you have the driver's car, meet up with the other drivers before 20:00. They are marked on the map with a yellow blip. You should have plenty of time to get there so take your time and don't damage the car! When you get there, park in between the two other cars in the same position they are. Once you've parked, the motorcade will head to the Awards Ceremony. Stay in between the two cars the entire time until you reach the ceremony. Madd Dogg's manager will get in the car. When he does, floor it and head for the pier (the yellow blip on your radar). When you get there, hold down X and drive straight down the pier. When you're about 20 feet from the end, hit the Triangle button to bail out (you'll get a popup telling you when to bail). The car will fly into the ocean and the mission will be complete. House Party ----------- REWARD: Respect + OG Loc has quit his job at the Burger Shot. "'Technician' ain't gangsta". Unfortunately, by doing so, he's violated his parole and will be heading back to prison soon. OG wants to have a big party before he returns to jail, however. After the cutscene, the "OG" Blip will have moved to Grove Street. That's where you have to go next. Before you head over, take some time to get some new threads and a haircut. When you're ready, drive over to Grove Street. Before you step into the marker, I suggest saving the game at the Johnson House. This mission isn't as easy as the previous ones. At the party, everyone that can tries to get outside to get away from OG Loc's awful music. Suddenly, a Grove Street member rides up on a bike. He warns everyone that the Ballas are planning a large attack on Grove Street. They're headed this way right now. The group gets heated and blocks off the road with a couple cars. Moments later, the Ballas arrive... The first wave is eight Ballas. They'll be right in front of your road block. They're hiding behind cars as well. Don't try blowing the cars up because you can't. Use the same strategy you used during the mission "Sweet's Girl". Duck down with the L3 Button and stay behind the car. Lock on to someone while you're behind the car and then either stand up and shoot them, or roll out from behind the car and shoot them. This wave is fairly easy, just play it safe and try not to lose any health, because you'll need it all for the last wave. The second wave is just four Ballas. This is a very easy wave. Stay ducked behind a car and lock on to each Balla one by one. They're up on the bridge above you. Now, the third wave is nothing like the previous two. I didn't count how many Ballas there were because I was too busy trying to live. The best advice I can give you is to keep moving. You can't really take cover because the Ballas will come from all directions. At first, they'll be coming from the area near the Johnson House. While you're fighting them, they'll pop out from behind OG Loc's House. I just sprinted around the area targeting whoever was closest. If you're constantly on the move, even as you're shooting, you won't take many hits. Once every Balla is dead, the mission will end. NOTE: OG Loc's blip will disappear from the map. You can't receive any more missions from him at the moment. It's time to move on to C.R.A.S.H. These will be given to you by the corrupted officers, namely Officer Tenpenny. He will show up on your map as a "C" blip. =============================================================================== ----- C.R.A.S.H. -------------------- =============================================================================== Burning Desire -------------- REWARD: None You will be doing "errands" for Officer Tenpenny to gain your freedom. First on the list is a man that Tenpenny wants killed. First, you'll need to pick up some Molotovs that Tenpenny has hidden for you. They're in an alleyway in Downtown. Go to the green blip on your radar and pick them up. Outside the Donut Shop is a police car for you to use. Once you have the Molotovs, a new blip will pop up. It's the gang house you need to torch. Follow the yellow blip. When you arrive at the house you'll need to kill the Vagos gang members that are out front. Once they're dead, you need to throw a Molotov in all five windows. To throw one, hold down the circle button to power up a throw and let go to throw. I suggest standing about two car lengths away from the window. Hold down circle for a second or less. When you let go it should go in or be close to going in. You have plenty of Molotov's to experiment and you should get to be pretty skilled with throwing them pretty soon. In between windows, you'll have Vagos members attack you (usually one at a time) so hopefully you have a gun to take them out with. After you have thrown a cocktail into all five windows, there will be a girl screaming from inside. You'll have to go save her. Enter the house through the front door. While inside be extra careful not to step into any fire. Make your way to the back of the first floor and you'll find the kitchen. Inside is a fire extinguisher. Pick it up. To use it, hold down circle. Aim with the right thumbstick. When you're trying to extinguish a fire, you have to aim at the base of the flame. Now make your way to the stairs that lead to the second floor. The stairs are attached to a room in the back of the house. You should notice the room by the Vagos corpse in the middle of it. Head upstairs and slowly make your way to the girl (marked on your radar with a blue blip). Her health depletes very slowly so take your time. Once you reach her, there is no time limit to get out of the building. Some walls will fall in so you can't go back the way you came. When you get out of the house, you have to drive the girl back to her home. Turns out she lives right off of Grove Street. When you drop her off, she'll give you her name and tell you to call her some time. Now she's a potential girlfriend. Read the "Guide to Girlfriends" section to find out more. NOTE: After completing this mission, Sweet will call you. You can now receive more missions from him and he's represented by an "S" on the map. First, you should finish these C.R.A.S.H. missions. Gray Imports ------------ REWARD: None Officer Tenpenny brings up that the Ballas have an unfair advantage over the Groves. Tenpenny wants to even the playing field and gives you the location where the Ballas and the Russians are cutting a deal. Go to the docks marked on your map with a yellow blip. You're going to have to find a way into the warehouse where the Ballas and the Russians are. Now, you _could_ bust in the front entrance, but... well, I have a better strategy. Southeast of the main entrance you'll see a railroad. The tracks run right into a building next to the warehouse. The first train compartment on the right track has a sawn-off shotgun inside. To get inside the compartment to get to the shotgun, you have to park a small car next to the door. There's a second train compartment in this building that has some body armor in it. There is a small wooden bridge you can use to get to the armor. When you're ready, exit the other side of the building and you'll be inside the warehouse. On your right there will be some large boxes. Jump up onto the boxes and shoot down on anyone nearby. The forklifts driving around should blow up after only a few shots with your sawn-off shotgun. Most of the men here drop SMGs. I'd suggest sticking with your sawn-off shotgun. The shotgun kicks ass at short range and that's what most of this mission will be. Once you've cleared the large area outside, make your way to the big gate with the small keypad next to it (the keypad is attached to the wall). It's the gate you saw in the cutscene when you first arrived. To the right of the gate is some body armor on top of a big box. Pick it up if you need armor. If not, you can come back for it later when you really do need it. Now it's time to enter the gate. Do not stand directly in front of the gate, but off to the side and shoot the keypad. When the gate opens, there will be a couple guys that will open fire. Stand out of their view and ease slowly toward the gate until you can barely see them. Gun the men down and enter the building. When inside, a few popups will teach you about strafing, rolling, and aiming. Hopefully you already knew these things because they're very helpful. Make your way through the maze of boxes in here. I suggest that you roll around every corner. Hold R1 to aim and then roll. If there's a guy around the corner, quickly let go of R1 and press it again to lock on. One shot with the sawn-off shotgun should bring him down. Early on there will be a health off behind some boxes in a corner. If you need health, pick it up, but if you don't, remember it for later because you can always come back. These health pickups refill your entire energy bar. The next corner you come to, it looks like you can go either left or right. On the right there is just some armor, no enemies. On the left are two guys. One will be closer to you (close enough for a one hit kill) and one is a bit farther away. There is an explosive barrel in between them. You can manually aim and shoot the barrel to take them both out. Change weapons and get out your SMG. You should have a bunch of SMG ammo by now. This next area you'll have to kill some guys at long range. Up ahead you'll see a fairly large space. Directly in front is a single guy. There are two or three back on the back wall on a catwalk and there are two off to the right. You should be able to make quick work of them using previous strategies. Take cover if you need to behind barrels (not the red explosive ones!) and roll and/or strafe a lot. The enemies here have horrible aim so you'll be fine. After the room is clear, make your way to the back. Under the catwalk and behind the stairs you'll find an AK-47. Next, climb _slowly_ up the stairs. Before you reach the very top of the stairs you can see a Balla standing directly in the front of the doorway at the top. Shoot him in the head (he shouldn't see you). It's easier to shoot him in the head with the AK-47 because you can zoom in. Crouch down and do not go through the doorway where the Balla was. The Russian arms dealer you need to kill is inside. If you bust in he'll run away. Stand on the left side of the doorway right up against the wall. If you stand as close to the wall as possible and look in through the doorway, you should be able to see a Balla and the Russian arms dealer on the far right side of the room. The Balla will die quickly, but the arms dealer takes a while to kill. As you shoot the arms dealer, he won't move unless you walk into the room. After he dies, the mission is complete. NOTE: This is the last mission C.R.A.S.H will give you for now. It's time to start Sweet's second strand of missions. Follow the "S" blip to find him. =============================================================================== ----- Sean Johnson - "Sweet" (Part II) -------------------- =============================================================================== Doberman -------- REWARD: Respect + Follow the "S" blip to get to Ammu-Nation. You're going to need some real heat for this mission. You probably already have plenty of weapons from previous missions, however. When you step into the marker you'll get a cutscene. You have to take over Glen Park, Ballas territory. Once you have all the weapons you need, drive to the green blip in the shape of a person. Ballas territory is shaded purple on your map. You need to go kill any Ballas you see that are in the shaded area. After you've killed so many Ballas, the purple area will begin to flash. This means you've started a gang war. Ballas will come in waves from different directions. Ballas will appear on your radar as purple blips. After you kill off an entire wave, a message will appear saying you've survived the first wave. Shortly after, the second wave will begin. When Ballas appear for a new wave, I suggest sprinting to one group first and killing them. Don't wait for the Ballas to come to you unless you want them attacking you from two directions. Be sure to explore the war area if you are low on health. Armor and Health pickups spawn randomly throughout the area if there is a war. The first wave of Ballas is very easy. The Ballas are equipped with pistols and baseball bats. The second wave is similar. Ballas use pistols. The third wave they use Tec-9s. Use the strategy I mentioned earlier to make sure you only fight on group at a time and stay inside Glen Park. If you exit the area where the war is going on for a certain period of time, the war will end and you will have to start over. After you've killed all three waves of Ballas, the territory will be yours. The Grove Street traitor will try to make a run for it. Use your radar to find and gun him down. Mission Complete! NOTE: You can now start gang wars and take over enemy territories by attacking enemy gang members. Enemy gang members can also attack territories you control, so you must defend from time to time as well. Read the "Gang Wars and Territories" section near the top of the FAQ in "The Basics" to learn more. Los Sepulcros ------------- REWARD: Respect + A whole bunch of Ballas are going to be at a funeral; the funeral of the Balla you killed in the previous mission. Sweet wants to launch an attack on them at the funeral. Before you leave, you should recruit some gang members. There is only room for two gang members in the car. There are to Grove Street members by the car. They have blue arrows above their head. Hold R1 to target a gang member. Then press the Up Button or the Down Button to recruit him. Once you've recruited your two members, get in the car and wait for your gang to get in. Then head for the funeral. It's marked on your map with a yellow blip and you have four minutes to get there. When you arrive, Sweet and the two gang members will hop a wall. Jump over the wall and meet up with them. You're given some instructions on how to control your gang. Press the Down Button to instruct your gang to stay in position. Press the Up Button to instruct them to follow you. If you hold the Up or Down Buttons for a few seconds or move to far away from your gang members, the gang will disband. When Kane, a leader of the Ballas, arrives, you are instructed to kill him. You'll find him to the east and he is represented by a red blip on your radar. Simply move in that direction while killing all Ballas you come across. I suggest staying crouched down and trying to stay near things you can use as cover for whenever you bump into a Balla. Once you reach Kane, just lock on with whatever weapon you have and empty your clip into him. He has armor on, but will still fall within a few seconds. Once he's dead, a blue blip on your radar will direct you do your getaway car. Get in the car (the door will be locked until Sweet gets in). You're going to have two stars by now. When you pull out of the cemetery make a left and then turn onto the first street on your right. On this street is a Pay N Spray. It will show up on your radar as a red spray can. Get a paint job to get rid of your wanted level and then drive back to Grove Street _carefully_ to complete the mission. Reuniting the Families ---------------------- REWARD: Respect + All of the families are going to be meeting at the Jefferson Motel to resolve differences, keep base off the streets. Hopefully we can reunite the families once more. Drive everyone down to the motel and stop in the marker. Sweet is the one representing the Groves so everyone else will wait in the car. Before anything even gets started, a Police helicopter circles over. Suddenly, the S.W.A.T. team drops in and S.W.A.T. vans circle the area. Big Smoke and Ryder are quick to abandon Sweet and C.J. You stay behind to save your brother. When the cutscene ends, you're in the middle of the parking lot with S.W.A.T members in every direction. This fight can and should be avoided. You don't want to lose any health you don't have to. Plus, with gang members shooting up at that helicopter, you don't want to be around when that thing blows. I learned that the hard way. When you gain control of C.J., enter the Jefferson Hotel behind you. Step into the yellow marker to go inside. Once inside, you'll see a vending machine in front of you. You can come back here for a drink. It will replenish your energy. Head up the staircase and the wounded gang member will tell you that the meeting was in the back of the hotel some place. That's where Sweet will be. As you head for the hallway up here, a S.W.A.T. member will jump out in front of you. A quick blast with the shotgun will send him flying. I suggest switching to your SMG at this point. It will kill your foes much quicker since you'll be shooting them at semi-long ranges. Make your way to the blue blip. That's where you'll find Sweet. At the first big room with red carpet, there will be a couple gang members shooting up at the ceiling. A few S.W.A.T. members will drop down. Make quick work of them, then climb up the stairs in this room to find some body armor. Once you have the armor, get back downstairs and head down the next hallway. After just a few steps, three or four S.W.A.T. members bust out of a doorway up ahead. Quickly spray the area with your SMG. You may have taken some decent damage from that encounter so head back to the vending machine at the entrance to the hotel if you need to. The hotel is fairly linear so just head toward the blue blip, killing any S.W.A.T. you see along the way. Once you reach Sweet, the two of you will escape to the roof. A helicopter will then begin to fly around you and there will be S.W.A.T. shooting down at you. Use your SMG to kill all of the passengers, then focus on the helicopter itself. Manually aim and just unload a couple clips into the helicopter. When it falls, you'll be instructed to follow Sweet. Once you get off of the building, things seem hopeless. There's nowhere to run, but Smoke and Ryder pull up. Apparently they decided to not be cowards. Better late than never, I suppose. You and Sweet hop in. Smoke is driving, so it'll be up to you to gun down the police as the group escapes back to Grove Street. If you liked the mission "Just Business", you'll like this. You're in the same situation, and it's not often you get to be gunner. Gun down every cop you see. Most will be coming at you from behind and every now and then you'll get a crazy guy jumping onto the back of your car. Nothing a few rounds with the AK-47 can't handle. The mission ends with the car ripping through a billboard and sailing over the highway into an 18 wheeler. The car explodes along with the 18 wheeler. Luckily, moments before all of that happened, the gang dove out of the speeding vehicle. Mission complete. Just another "Hell of a story to tell when we passin' the blunt!" The Green Sabre --------------- REWARD: Respect + Something big is about to go down. Sweet has planned a huge attack on the Ballas. You need to get heated up and meet with everyone at the crossroads. As your leaving Sweet's you get a phone call from Cesar. He needs to tell you something urgent. It can't wait. So head on over to where Cesar is waiting under the freeway. It's marked on the radar with a yellow blip. When you stop in the marker, you'll be instructed to get in the car that's parked in the alleyway. Just a little suspicious, huh? Get in the car with the blue arrow above it for a cutscene. Cesar and CJ look across the street at a building. A couple Ballas exit the building. Shortly after, Big Smoke and Ryder also come from the building. They slide open a large door, revealing the Green Sabre that was driven by CJ's mom's killer. Finally, Smoke and Ryder are seen cutting some sort of deal with Tenpenny. CJ realizes that Sweet is running right into an ambush. You need to drive to the blip on your radar as quickly as possible. If Sweet's health reaches zero before you arrive, it's mission failure. When you reach the ambush, you need to park in the red marker. On your way to the marker, run over and Ballas you can, but don't overdo it. If you drive around too long the Ballas will blow your ride to bits. When you stop in the marker another cutscene will start. Sweet is badly hurt and doesn't know about Ryder and Smoke's betrayal. It's up to you to gun down all of the Ballas that are attacking. This part starts out fairly easy. Just stay ducked down behind the cars and slowly pick off the Ballas one by one. If you find a group of Ballas that are particularly close to a single car, just blow the car up. Play this real safe and stay under cover _all_ the time. After these Ballas are dead, a few more will drive up. Kill them the same way. Finally, a final group of Ballas will circle the area in a car and shoot at you from the car. You should still play it safe and make sure you aren't in a position to be hit. Eventually, the car should stop. Unload your SMG on the car until it explodes. All of the Ballas are dead, but the police roll in and the Groves surrender. ============================================================ _____ _ _ __ __ ____ __ _ ____ _ _ __ ____ /_ _// _/ // _/ / )/ _ // \ / / / _ // \/ // \ / __/ / / / _ // _/ / < / _ // / // /_ / _ // // / //_ / /_/ /_//_//__/ /__//_//_//__,'/___//_//_//_/\_//__,'/___/ - The Badlands Missions - (C0302) ============================================================ In the next scene you're in the middle of nowhere - the Badlands. And you're far away from Los Santos. Things aren't going too well for you. C.R.A.S.H. has you in their control once again, Sweet is in the hospital recovering from bullet wounds while he waits to be put on trial, and Big Smoke has betrayed you and does only what Tenpenny tells him. C.R.A.S.H. threatens that you better stay away from Smoke. Also, Tenpenny has some more "errands" for you to do in The Badlands. You can find him by following the "C" blip on your radar. Next to the marker where you start the next mission there is a floppy disk where you can save. =============================================================================== ----- C.R.A.S.H. -------------------- =============================================================================== Badlands -------- REWARD: None Tenpenny needs you to kill the witness in order to prevent him from talking. To prove to Tenpenny that you did the job, you're going to have to take some pictures of the errmmm... corpse. Sounds like fun, huh? The problem is, Tenpenny stripped you of all your weapons. Although not entirely necessary for this mission, a weapon does make things easier. Luckily there's an Ammu-Nation across the street. Head over there and pick up a weapon. You won't need a real expensive one. A pistol will do. Once you're heated, find a suitable off-road vehicle (Sanchez is good). You're headed up Mount Chiliad. Mount Chiliad is the mountain to the north of Angel Pine (the town you're in now). Drive to the yellow blip on your radar. When you arrive, you're instructed to make your way up the mountain. Open up your map and you'll see the path you have to take to reach the witness. When you arrive at the cabin, I would suggest you don't even get out of your vehicle. Make a few rounds around the cabin, running over any Feds you see. Soon after, the witness will try to make an escape in a car. The easiest way to kill this guy is to get some speed (be careful not to fall off the mountain) and swerve in front of the car. Slow down a bit and instead of ramming you, the car will attempt to go around you. You can do this to get him to drive right off of the mountain. Simply follow him down. It's likely that he'll get out of the car at this point. Run him over or shoot him, then take a quick picture of the body. Then drop your camera off at the drop off to complete this mission. NOTE: Upon completing this mission you'll receive to phone calls. One from Cesar. He tells you that he sent some back up to protect. Meet them at the diner in Dillimore ("?" blip on your radar). The second call is from Sweet. He's a little pissed that he's in prison hospital and he wants you to do something about it. Head for the "?" blip on your radar to meet up with Cesar's cousin. It's quite a long trip. Dillimore is a small town just north of Los Santos. =============================================================================== ----- Catalina -------------------- =============================================================================== First Date ---------- REWARD: None When you step into the diner there is a woman causing a lot of commotion and swinging at a couple of men with a knife. The woman questions CJ, but after scanning the room, he says that he was looking for a friend's cousin, some Mexican dude, but he's not here. If you haven't guessed by now, this woman is Cesar's cousin. She takes you outside and introduces herself. Her name is Catalina and she has an agenda. Catalina plans to rob this county of every stinking
